Some Bizarre World Cup Predictions – Believe it or not!
Jul 6th
I saw these 2 predictions few hours back, sound interesting.
1. The 3964 Myth
1. Brazil won the world cup in 1994, before that in 1970 Add it: 1970 + 1994 = 3964
2. Argentina won in 1986, before that in 1978 Add: 1978 + 1986 = 3964
3. Germany won in 1990, before that in 1974 Add 1974 + 1990 = 3964
4. Again brazil won in 2002, before that in 1962 Add: 1962 + 2002 = 3964
5. And now who wins in 2010? Easy: 3964 – 2010 = 1954
And who won World Cup in 1954?
2. Paul’s prediction:
Just in case you don’t know who is Paul, these are something about “him”:
Paul is an Octopus born in England but resides in Sea Life Aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany. He is stunning soccer fans around the world with his remarkable ability to predict the outcome of German World Cup games. So far for this world cup, his track record is 100%. For example, he has correctly predict the outcome for German to win over England and Argentina. The last time Paul predicted a German loss, the team was upset by Serbia.
How he choose the winner? Paul decides over a winner by picking a mussel in one of two glasses — one with a German flag and the other one with a flag of the opponent.
For this round, this psychic eight-legged oracle has made his latest selection which shocks Germany. He has selected the mussel from the container with Spain’s flag. So do you think you can trust this giant “sotong”?
Actually his lifetime record is 80% as he has once made a mistake in Euro 2008 where he wrongly picked Germany as the winner over Spain. There is a saying his colour blindness might caused him hard to distinguish the German tricolor of black, red and yellow from the red-yellow-red stripes of Spain. So German still got hope.
By the way, Paul is so popular now that there are some fan page for him, one of it is here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Oktopus-Paul/106518376065475?ref=search&v=wall

Awesome Arts!
May 30th
I’m not really a art lover but still couldn’t resist to say a wow when seeing all these wonderful art pieces. The artists who created all these are really talented!
These batch of pavement drawings are done by Julian Beever, he is an English, Belgium-based chalk artist who has been creating trompe-l’œil chalk drawings on pavement surfaces since the mid-1990s.
You can view more Julian Beever’s artwork at his website here : http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm
Another artist is Edgar Müller , world known european street painting artist from German.
Take a look at this video for last year’s Festival of World Cultures, this renowned German street painting artist Edgar Müller transformed a huge slice of the East Pier into a dramatic ice age scene.
Take a look at Edgar’s other art works at http://www.metanamorph.com.
iMedia Brand Summit
Apr 14th
Last week, I was invited to attend the iMedia Brand Summit in KK, Sabah. The event was held in Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort, it is a real fantastic hotel for holidays, but for conferences… ehm ehm, we do not have much time to really enjoy the facilities except for the beautiful scenes of private beach, trees, gardens and pools.
Though the schedule was kinda tight where it basically started as early as 7.45am and ended as late as 11pm, I still find it is quite good in the sense that we really get to do lots of networking. The number of attendees was about 100 plus and the delegates mostly are from Singapore.
Besides networking, there are some talks that really beneficial, especially the one from Cindy Gallop, she is such a great speaker and the most exciting news is I’m meeting her tomorrow afternoon! She is going to launch a mission – “If We Ran The World” (some details can be found one http://blog.wired.com/business/2009/03/yes-we-plan-how.html), it is really something very extraordinary.
Another good speaker is Kim Walker from Silver Group. I particular like his idea of targeting at “silver surfers”, means, those 50 and above. While most of the digital initiatives are targeting at the younger age group, his area become quite niche. He has got his point, those 50 and above can be “wealthy, wired and rising in the digital market…”. (read more details on his presentation here : http://www.silvergroup.asia/blog/Keynote-speech-delivered-to-the-iMedia-Brand-Summit.php)
Deploy Digital is another company that I’m very keen to know more about their works. Anyway, I will be meeting up with the CEO, Thorsten Nolte next month.
Finally, I get to know many friends from the summit, add more friends to my facebook… and hope to see them again in the near future!
It really made me smile…

I saw this video – Validation, from Gerald’s twit just now and it is really a cool video, awesome! I just wanna share it here…
Hope you smile too!

Obama’s Ice Cream – Black in White
Mar 18th
I found this ice cream ads, is so cute. It is from Russia. It is call Obama’s Ice Cream.
This Obama Duet Ice-Cream ad was created by Russian ad agency, Voskhod, Yekaterinburg and featured creative direction by Andrey Gubaydullin, art direction/illustration by Vlad Derevyannykh and copyrighting by Aleksandr Parkhomenko and Evgeny Primachenko.
In fact, in January this year, Ice Cream maker, Ben & Jerry has also came up with a new ice cream flavor YES PECAN! –basically butter pecan — as the unofficial Obama ice cream. Cleverly riding on Obama’s slogan YES WE CAN!, this ice cream company said to have donated their first month proceeds of YES PECAN! to the Common Cause Education Fund.
